1895 Bamboo Cylinder Container with lid, inner contents of 4 stampless money order covers similar period sent from China to Chinatown in Bangkok. 3 covers were without any postmarks and one having "BANGKOK 2 without stars" arrival backstamp dated 18 SEP 1895, top and bottom paper soiled with letter ccontents. It is absolutely strange as there should not have arrival postmark on the stampless covers.(4 + 1 contaner) Only in 1907 Post and Telegraph Dept. opened new office named BANGKOK 8 to handle all incoming and outgoing mails for the especially Chinese people in Chinatownv to Swatow China.
2438 กระบอกไม้ไผ่ทรงกระบอกพร้อมฝา ภายในบรรจุซองส่งเงินไม่ติดแสตมป์ จำนวน 4ซอง ส่งจากซัวเถา จีน มาประเทศไทยในย่านชุมชนชาวจีนในกรุงเทพฯ มี 3 ซองไม่มีตราประทับ และอีกซองมีตรารับ "BANGKOK 2" แบบไม่มีดาว วันที่ 18 ก.ย. 2438 อยู่ด้านหลังซอง ด้านบนและด้านล่างชำรุด และยังมีจดหมายบรรจุอยู่ภายใน เป็นเรื่องแปลกที่มีตรารับบนซองที่ไม่ติดแสตมป์ (4 + 1กระบอก) ในปี พ.ศ. 2450 กรมไปรษณีย์ได้เปิดที่ทำการไปรษณีย์กรุงเทพฯ ที่ 8 สำหรับรับส่งจดหมายที่ไป และมาจากประเทศจีนโดยเฉพาะ
